To the editor:

On June 27, my wife and I went to Dino’s, one of our favorite places to eat. During our meal my wife lost her diamond ring, which she didn’t notice missing until we returned home later in the evening.

The next day I called Dino’s to see if anyone had found it. I really did not expect it to be there, but to my surprise they had the ring. One of the employees had found it.

I tried to give them a reward, but they would not accept it. This has restored my faith in people.
