Johnson County golf coach Steve Arnold, who has been coaching and teaching there for over three decades, is retiring at the end of 2014 season and 2014-15 school year, but has a great chance to win his first District 1-A/AA golf title since 2007.

There is a lot of hype about this Johnson County team, which is fitting because Arnold’s exit from local golf is going to be one where the effects are going to be seen for a long time.

Arnold always made sure things were done in an orderly fashion, whether it was dealing with the conference coaches or the local media.
