Cosby had an upset in mind on its way to Roan Mountain. However, Austin Whitehead and the Highlanders weren’t going to have any part of it.

With six touchdowns combined from Whitehead, Cloudland dispatched the Eagles 48-7 in the Mountain East Conference opener at Orr Field.

The win moves the ’Landers, who are ranked fourth in the TSSAA Class A AP Poll, to 3-0 on the season, while Cosby falls to 0-3.
