Hard work and extra effort have paid off in a big way for Unaka Elementary as the Junior Rangers remained unbeaten with a 22-6 win over Johnson County on Thursday evening at Goddard Field.
“All these boys have worked hard all summer,” said Jr. Rangers head coach Donald Ensor. “We had a group of them go to Clemson for summer camp — line camp — and they worked them hard. We try to take it one snap at a time, one play at a time and one game at a time. Our eighth-grade leadership has been great.”
