MANCHESTER—Jamie Hinkle had a rough first couple of holes to begin the day that brought her out of contention for a high finish, but Elizabethton senior standout did not let that take away the experience she had at the Class A/AA state golf tournament.

It takes a lot to fluster Hinkle and nothing was going to rain on this special moment of her life.

Hinkle shot 97 on the day to finish tied for 29th in the state tourney at the Willowbrook Golf Club to close out a superb career.
