The Cloudland High School cheerleaders have been a busy group this past summer and continue to be busy this fall. Their busy schedule, hard work and perseverance are paying off in some big ways.
The CHS cheerleaders are sure something to cheer about. The squad of 15 is busy practicing two to three evenings per week for three hours per practice. In addition to practicing their cheers, they also make game signs, work on new cheers and dances, and participate in feeding the football team. All that hard work and practice is paying off.
The girls attended a Universal Cheerleaders Association cheer camp this past summer, and as a result, they were asked to perform at Spirit Day at a University of Tennessee football game earlier this month. Also as a result of that camp, senior Ariel Hill made the All- American cheer team and will be traveling to London, England, in late December to perform in the New Year’s Day parade with the UCA team.
