ERWIN—Rain didn’t take away the Longhorns air attack but it added a little spice to the run game.

Johnson County used a staunch effort on the ground from fullback Cole Peters and outscored Unicoi County 13-0 in the second half to score a 26-6 Three Rivers Conference win at Gentry Stadium during the Blue Devils homecoming night.

The Longhorns moved to 4-3 on the year and stayed perfect inside the Three Rivers Conference (3-0) while the Blue Devils remain winless on the year
