The City of Elizabethton will be doing waterline work in the area surrounding Food City and at Ferguson Avenue and W. I Street Thursday, Oct. 16.
Work will begin at 11 p.m. Thursday and continue through the night until the repair work is completed. Water service may be interrupted from Riverside Drive east to Highway 19E on the north side of E. Elk Ave. as well as Daytona Place west to Lawson Ave. on the south side of W. G St. Customers should be prepared to be without water for several hours.
