Another Mountain East Conference foe with playoff aspirations visits Goddard Field on Thursday night as Unaka hosts Cosby in the season finale.

The Eagles (3-6 overall, 3-2 MEC) can sneak into the TSSAA playoffs but only with a victory over the Rangers (1-8 overall, 1-4 MEC).

“They are a team with a lot of speed,” commented Rangers head coach Steve McKinney. “Their quarterback and running backs are super. One is a transfer from Cocke County. They have a couple good wide receivers and look strong up front. They are a good looking football team and they got after North Greene pretty good.”
