On an icy field plagued with turnovers, the Highlanders fell to the Coalfield Yellow Jackets 38-28 Friday night in the second round of the Class 1A playoffs.

Out of 14 possessions, Cloudland would turn the ball over nine times (including downs).

“When we play good teams, it is the same story for us,”  said Cloudland head coach Brock Pittman. “We would get the momentum back and then we would lose it. And then we would get it back and then we would lose it.”
