Jr. Lady Cyclones dropped spirited match on road to GMS

Any time the T.A. Dugger Jr. Lady Cyclones and Greeneville Middle Lady Greene Devils hook up for a volleyball match, the fans will come out the winners by getting their monies worth to watch the two teams do battle.

The two teams met on Tuesday evening in Greeneville to do battle for a conference win and even though the Jr. Lady Cyclones fought valiantly, in the end, the Jr. Lady Greene Devils came out on top in a decisive third set.

Greeneville opened the match by outdueling the Jr. Lady Cyclones in the first set winning in close fashion, 25-23.

Needing a win to stay alive, the Jr. Lady Cyclones responded with a rousing second-set victory downing the home team 25-17 to force a third set.

Playing only to 15 in the set, the Jr. Lady Devils managed to hold serve and take the exciting win by a 15-7 score to win the match 2-1.
