After seeing her team go 5-5 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference last year, Milligan women’s soccer head coach Lisa Buckley hopes for improvement in 2014.

And with four key returners and seven newcomers, Buckley is feeling good about this year.

“It is early days and we are still learning a lot about ourselves,” said Buckley. “We brought in a good freshman group. You know, three or four, players who are ready to contribute right away. We also have a key group of returners.”
