A late goal by St. Andrews dealt Milligan its first loss of the season 2-1 on Wednesday.
The goal came with under five minutes in the second half when St. Andrews midfielder Brendan Duncan swept a ball across the box and found the head of defender Hector Rivas to deliver the game-winning goal.
“I think it was a pretty good match head-to-head and given a different night I think it would be a different result,” Milligan head coach Adam Laney said.
