The Milligan Buffaloes held onto the Champions Cup as they defeated the Tennessee Wesleyan College Bulldogs 10-6 in match play Thursday at Elizabethton Golf Course.

“It is always very competitive,” said Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford. “It is a lot of fun to step away from stroke play and play a match-play event. It was a long day as we played 36 holes, but again it is a lot of fun. We always look forward to it, and we are very pleased we won this time.”
