It was the homecoming that Kara Anderson couldn’t have dreamed of any better.

The former Sullivan East standout and Three Rivers Player of the Year began the match with five first-set kills en route to an eight-kill, six-dig effort in a 25-15, 25-16, 26-24 Columbia College victory over Milligan at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.

It was an impressive performance by the Koalas and Anderson came out very early ready to win for the hometown crowd when she went through a first-set kill fest for which Milligan had no answer.
