For a match that was won in three straight sets, Milligan’s senior-night romp over the Bluefield College Rams at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse was intense to say the least.

And for seniors Kayla Moore and Kaitlyn Round, Tuesday night was the last time they would play at home for Milligan.

“It is really mixed emotions,” said Moore about Milligan’s 3-0 win (25-20, 25-23, 25-18) over Bluefield. “I am really honored to have played for Milligan for four years. And it is kind of surreal. You kind of think you will never get here and you’re always cheering on your upperclassmen. But you’re here and it’s time to play. So I have really enjoyed it, and I can’t believe I am already a senior.”
