The Milligan ladies golf team peaked at the right time, shooting a record 312 final round at the Appalachian Athletic Conference fall championship to secure first place and win the fall season crown.

“We’d had several quality rounds through the fall season but we weren’t able to all play well at the same time,” Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford said. “So it just so happens that on the final day of the conference tournament that happen for us. We were very excited that we all pulled it together for the final tournament of the season.”
