Four years ago Mickey Woods took a chance on the Milligan basketball team. Now during his senior year, the Buffs are rewarding their point guard with two games close to his home of Port Arthur, Tx.

Milligan will travel for games against Lamar and Louisiana Lafayette during the schools Christmas break.

“We always want to play close to our guys’ home so that their family and friends get a chance to see them play,” Milligan head coach Bill Robinson said. “Obviously Mickey is a lot further away than most guys, so for us to be able to do that, sometimes things just works out in your favor.”
