The only problem on Wednesday night for the Milligan Buffs seemed to be the keeping of the shot clock because Alice Lloyd (Ky.) didn’t put up much of a fight.

Milligan (3-0) went up by as much as 29 points in the second half to slowly finish off the visiting team 81-62 inside of Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.

“We had a big emphasis coming out of the locker room to start the game that we wanted to attack,” Milligan coach Bill Robinson said. “We knew that they had played last night and that they would have tired legs, and we wanted to get out and run and put pressure on them early.”
