The Lady Buffs will be looking to add to that legacy as they are chasing their 12th straight Appalachian Athletic Conference title while the men’s squad will be looking to record a national upset on Saturday at Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn.

“Obviously, we can’t control the level we compete at, but any collegiate team that wins multiple conference championships in a row deserves respect,” head coach Chris Layne said. “I think 12 years ago, the table was set. Those girls didn’t know what they started, and it has really been neat.”

Perhaps as special as the conference title for Layne and the Buffaloes is the streak of top-25 national finishes.
